HEALTH AND SAFETY

For many years, we have introduced measures to reduce the number of workplace accidents. Our 32 health, safety and environment coordinators at our international industrial and logistics sites make this possible.

In 2012, we also introduced our worldwide Safety in SEB program, which formally sets out the group's minimum requirements beyond national and international regulations. For example, we have implemented a behavioral safety visit, conducted at least twice a year, for all employees in at-risk sectors. These visits aim to change at-risk behavior, responsible for 80% of accidents.

These measures have produced results; a 35% decrease in our worldwide lost time injury rate since 2014 to 1.8.

We have also committed to certifying our health and safety management system, OHSAS 18001. 100% of our industrial and logistics entities were certified at end-2020.

Lastly, we have made commitments on workplace safety to limit the number of occupational illnesses, particularly musculoskeletal disorders in France.

TARGETS FOR 2023

- Cut the number of workplace accidents with lost days ( ) (2017 base) in half, i.e. LTIRi <1.5
- 100% of plants certified to health and safety standards – OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001
